Frederick E. Yorsch is a partner of the law firm of Morel Yorsch and NOLA Title Company. In his general practice he represents clients in a wide variety of fields including state and local government, real estate, general business, tort and family law.
Mr. Yorsch is a graduate of New Orleans Police Academy and was employed by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office from 1995 through 2003. He was selected for the Street Crimes Unit and the Crisis Management Unit (SWAT). Mr. Yorsch rose to the rank of Lieutenant and Assistant Commander of the Street Crimes Unit.
Mr. Yorsch received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in 1998 and his graduate degree from Southern University in 2000. Mr. Yorsch graduated from Loyola University School Of Law in 2004 earning a Juris Doctorate and a International Legal Studies Certificate.
Mr. Yorsch is licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He is also a graduate of the Police Legal Advisor Training Program instructed by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Mr. Yorsch is a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Jefferson Parish Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, National Sheriff's Association and the Fraternal Order of Police. Since 2005, he has served as Legal Counsel for the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office.
